Your Venue Backdrop

When you visit venues make sure to think about how the venue will look in photographs. Here is a list of several things I look for when visiting venues from a photographic standpoint.

-Is there a grand staircase or entrance?

-Are there stained glass windows or oversized windows that will allow light in?

-Does the venue have gardens or fields that will provide a different factor to the photos?

-Is there a long driveway that the couple can walk down for portraits?

-Are their chandeliers or lighting that provide an element of sophistication?

Clearly this is not a complete list of things to take into account, but this where I like to start when I am thinking about a venue for clients. Take your time when visiting venues and make sure that you can envision yourself getting married there. The right venue is out there for you.

HAPPY PLANNING!
